Lesson #10 - Half and Whole Steps

Practice Routine

Try to practice 4-6 days a week for at least 15-30 minutes. Be sure to download the sheet music because you will need it for lessons moving forward.

Here is what you should practice this week:

  1. Memorize the term chromatic scale (moving to the very next note) (5 min)
  2. Pick any note and move up/down a half step (5 min)
  3. Pick any note and move up/down a whole step (5 min)
  4. Try playing the chromatic scale with your right hand (advanced) (10 min)
