Lesson #16 - Ties

Practice Routine

Try to practice 4-6 days a week for at least 15-30 minutes. Be sure to download the sheet music because you will need it for lessons moving forward.

Here is what you should practice this week:

  1. Find all the ties in a piece of music (5 min)
  2. Continue your technique exercises (5-finger scale, etc.) (5 min)
  3. Say your musical alphabet forward and backwards (5 min)
  4. Try saying your musical alphabet in skips (i.e. C-E-G-etc...) (5 min)
  5. Pay attention to posture and grab technique!
