Try to practice 4-6 days a week for at least 15-30 minutes. Be sure to download the sheet music because you will need it for lessons moving forward.
Here is what you should practice this week:
- Find all the ties in a piece of music (5 min)
- Continue your technique exercises (5-finger scale, etc.) (5 min)
- Say your musical alphabet forward and backwards (5 min)
- Try saying your musical alphabet in skips (i.e. C-E-G-etc...) (5 min)
- Pay attention to posture and grab technique!
