Lesson #18 -The Pedals

Practice Routine

Try to practice 5-6 days a week for at least 30-minutes. Be sure to download the sheet music because you will need it for lessons moving forward.

Here is what you should practice this week:

  1. Read this article on the piano pedals (5 min)
  2. USE the pedal as much as you can in your practice. Try to not let the notes sound too "ringy" and try to create a legato sound (15 min)
  3. Try practicing your 5-finger scale using the pedal (5 min)
